This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. The crispy duck is just hands down the best I've ever had. We came for a visit and eat here both nights. People were amazing, recommendations were just what we wanted but didn't know we wanted, food was just perfection. Cozy place, best food, strongly recommend!!!!

Thai Pavilion in Covington offers a warm, homey atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The décor has a cozy, inviting feel, and the staff matches it perfectly—polite, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. The food was very good across the board. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I went with a spice level of 2 out of 3, which felt just right—enough heat to enjoy without overwhelming the meal. If you like a little spice but don’t want to regret it later, 2 is a safe and solid choice. The red curry had a slightly different seasoning than I’m used to. Not bad, just unexpected. The fried rice was excellent, and the standout of the meal was the crab rangoons—easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Overall, a very enjoyable and reliable Thai dining experience.

Thai Pavilion is a fantastic addition to the Covington downtown area. If you are looking for classic Thai cuisine that hits all the right notes, this is the spot. The Food: Generous Portions: I was impressed by the good portion sizes; you definitely get your money’s worth here. Pro-Tip for Vegetarians: One important thing to note is that the garden salad might contain fish sauce. If you have a vegetarian preference, just be sure to double-check with the staff when ordering! Drinks: Tea & Beer: The Jasmine Rose tea was lovely very fragrant and a great palate cleanser. They also have a good selection of Thai beer, which paired perfectly with the spice of the meal. Summary: Overall, it’s a great atmosphere with authentic flavors. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, the quality and quantity of the food won’t disappoint.

Cute little Thai restaurant, had a full bar & seating when we walked in, as well as a small dining area. I enjoyed the calamari as an appetizer, and the wife ordered Tom Kha Kai soup. For mains I had the jumbo lump crab fried rice and the Thai pavilion fish. I highly recommend ordering the fish if you decide to come in.
